A company with educated personnel is a profitable company.
Multiple Training Options
CMCA is dedicated to providing many training opportunities for the Colorado Trucking community. We offer a long list of training seminars at our Denver training center. These low-cost classes are usually one day or less and cover a wide range of critical topics. Realizing that carriers outside of the Denver Metro area can sometimes not afford the time and expense to send personnnel to Denver for Training, CMCA also offers various seminars around the State as demand warrants. Look through the various courses here.

NATMI Fleet Safety Certification Courses Set for October
The Colorado Motor Carriers Association and the North American Transportation Management Institute (NATMI) will again this year be hosting courses leading to Fleet Safety Certification. The classes and exam will be done at the CMCA training center in Denver.
The goal is to educate rising safety personnel to a more professional managerial level and provide them with a management certification that will enhance their corporate management expertise and job potential. Fleet Safety Certification consists of two courses:
-
Motor Fleet Safety Basics (October, 2012)
- Managing Motor Fleet Safety Programs (October, 2012)
After completing both classes, candidates take a certification exam. if passed this leads to certification. The type of certification depends on your experience level and years on the job. There is a "Certified Director of Safety" for those with 5 years experience as a Director of Safety. There is also a "Certified Safety Supervisor" for those with two years as a safety supervisor.
NATMI is a nationally recognized, university accredited certification school that offers a variety of professional certifications. For full details read the attached brochure and form and visit NATMI online.
