This is a great opportunity to recognize your company, drivers and safety professionals for their dedication to highway safety. Please read the enclosed information carefully, as some changes have been made. Awards will be presented at the Safety Awards Banquet to be held on April 13, 2012. "Truckers On Patrol"
Based on response to a recent presentation by the Denver Police Department on "Taxis on Patrol", CMCA is working on setting up a meeting to discuss a similar "Truckers on Patrol" program.

2011 Roadeo Event on YouTube
This year, the Safety Management Council invited the ATA Share the Road Image Trailer to attend our TDC, along with 2 America’s Road Team Captains. On Friday, June 3rd, we held a media event attended by Chief James Wolfinbarger and LTC Scott Hernandez of the Colorado State Patrol, the Mayor of Brighton, and Adams County Commissioner Alice Nichol. Obtaining HazMat Endorsement Background Checks
CMCA has published a document describing the process and details on obtaining Hazardous Materials Background Endorsement checks based on the TSA rules. You can find a Nationwide list of Haz Mat background check locations at a Transportation Security Administration website.

Training Opportunities
CMCA Offers a rich variety of training opportunities for both members and non-members. The modern CMCA training center in Denver is the location of most seminars. As demand warrants, CMCA also conducts seminars at other locations around the state. Take a look at this year's seminars on the training page.
2012 CMCA Convention
A highlight of the CMCA year is the annual CMCA convention. It is a chance for members to network and renew their knowledge of CMCA programs and successes.
The 2012 annual meeting will be held September 20-22 at the Ritz-Carton Bachelor Gulch, Avon, Colorado at peak fall foliage.
CMCA staff is working to line up speakers for the event. Online registration will open in June 2012. There is a dedicated page on this website to provide details of the convention.
